arrival and life in the community:
HOW TO GET TO US:
If you are flying into San Jose Airport, the cost for your airport transport will be $00, which you can book as an add-on with any booking in our system. If you didn't already add this on at your time of booking, no worries just send us a message!
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT:
Our standard check in time is 2:00pm and check out is 11:00am. What this means is if you are going to be arriving at any other time, you need to let us know. Because of various workshops, group activities and general operating-in-Costa Rica things, we aren’t able to have a reception that operates 24/7. In order to make sure you have the smoothest on-boarding experience possible, please make us aware of your approximate arrival time. As for check out, you must be out of your room by 11:00am on your final day. You’re welcome to remain in house until 7:00pm in order to finish any work you might have and enjoy one last sunset.
Our house is extremely safe and is located within a gated community and is extremely safe. That being said, we do of course suggest using your common sense and standard precautionary attitude to ensure you and all of your belongings are completely safe!
We try to organize activities 3 - 5 times per week for the community at the house. The schedule is ever changing and based on the needs of the group in the house at the time. We watch movies, hold debates, go for runs, hold meditation classes, NomadTalks, and anything else you can think of. If there is an activity you would like to run let us know and we’re happy to accommodate! This is a community experience and it’s only as strong as we all make it!
